Death of The Revd Canon Roy Barker

Roy Barker, a former Dean of Grahamstown and Honorary Canon of the Cathedral, died at his home in Bristol, England on 28 October 2011. Give thanks for his many years of service in this Diocese, and pray for his wife Margaret and the family.

A Memorial Eucharist was held in the chancel on Wednesday 9th November 2011 at 11 am You can read Jeannette Eve's lovely tribute to Roy here, compiled from submissions from members of the congregation.
